Bosnien-Herzegowina: Enthronement of Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-TuzlaNewly elected Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla was enthroned at the Cathedral church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Bijeljina on 17 September 2017. His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje Jovan, Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana and Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia and Bishops: Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla, Vasilije of Srem, Nikanor of Banat, Irinej of Backa, Dositej of Britain and Scandinavia, Justin of Zica, Pahomije of Vranje, Jovan of Sumadija, Atanasije of Milesheva, Joakim of Polog-Kumanovo, Marko of Bregalnica, Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac, David of Krusevac, Jovan of Slavonia, Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac, Arsenije of Nis and retired Georgije of Canada.
The solemn rite of the ethronement was attended by retired Bishops Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla and Konstantin of Middle-Europe. Among concelebrants also were: Archimandrites Seraphim from the Rmanj Monastery and Isihije from the monastery of Kovilj. During the solemn Liturgy in the beautiful church dedicated to the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God among celebrants also were: protopresbyter-staurophors Stojadin Pavlovic, Director of the Administration Office of the Serbian Patriarchate; Dragomir Sando, PhD, Professor of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade and Chairman of the Religious Education Committee in the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac; Petar Lukic, principal of the Cathedral church in Belgrade; Zoran Krstic, PhD, Principal of the Seminary in Kragujevac; Jovo Lakic, Hierarchal deputy of the Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla, as well as hieromonk Dositej of Chilandar.
The decision of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church about the election of His Grace Bishop Fotije as Bishop of Zvornik-Tuzla was read by Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia.
The solemn enthronement was attended by: Mr. Mladen Ivanic, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina; Mr. Nikola Selakovic, Secretary General of the President of Serbia; Mr. Miladin Dragicevic, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Srpska; Mr. Dragan Bogdanic, Minister of Health of the Republic of Srpska; and Mr. Zoran Tegeltija, Minister of Finance; Mr. Mico Micic, Mayor of Bijeljina; Mileta Radojevic, PhD, Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities in the Government of Repubic Serbia; Mr. Marko Nikolic, Assistant Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities; Mr. Miodrag Linta, MP of Serbia; mayors of the municipalities.
